we finally signed up for netflix. i'm enjoying it so far. especially the streamable stuff, because a friend reminded me that i can watch the Instant View movies on our t.v. via the xbox360. |
i started watching the first season of Dead Like Me; and even though i know it was cancelled after the second season, i still fell in love with it instantly. i made it all the way through episode twelve of the first season only to realize that the last two episodes are on disc four which is mail-out only. so, it's next in my queue. i prescreened season two for the same situation. i'm glad i did, because disc one, two, and four are all mail-out only, as well. whatever. i like the show, i'll wait.
so, in the mean time... i decided to start season one of Dexter. got through two episodes last night before darek got home from work. he decided to sit down and watch it with me. he liked it! we watched three episodes together before going to bed. i asked him today if he wanted me to watch it without him. he said he didn't care, but i can tell that he is actually interested in it. i will wait for him and we can watch that together, i guess.
we got our first mail-out wednesday afternoon, but got around to watching it today. The Boy In The Striped Pajamas should come with a warning label, for real. That is *THE* saddest movie I have seen in maybe ever. and, of course, my husband had to laugh at me for crying which really makes me feel bad, like there's something wrong with me for crying.
so yes, that has been my netflix experience thus far. but now i have to find some new stuff to watch while i wait for DLM to come in the mail and in between watching Dexter with darek.
